John’s civil litigation practice is concentrated on the defense of personal injury and product liability claims and suits, insurance subrogation defense, insurance coverage opinions, wrongful death, and premises liability. He has had considerable success representing hundreds of individuals and companies, large and small. Never afraid to take a case before a jury, John understands the value of reasonable compromise given the ever-increasing costs of litigation. Over his nearly twenty years of practice in Denver and throughout Colorado, John has developed close and productive relationships with many mediators who have helped him with the early resolution of cases, saving his clients time, expense, and emotional toll.
Experience
Early in his career, John honed his courtroom skills as town prosecutor for the cities of Empire and Georgetown, Colorado. He then went to work with a small Denver boutique firm working in oil and gas, and mineral rights, as well as representing automobile dealerships in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Beginning in 2006, John has focused his practice on representing insurance companies and their insured.
